GENERAL INFORMATION
The Norwich Summer Hunt Giveaway is an interactive treasure hunt using cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) technology. Participants explore over 40 hidden gems and historical landmarks in Norwich, guided by a mini-documentary narrated by Ria and Alia.
Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that overlays digital content onto the real world through your smartphone or tablet. It enhances your real-world experiences with interactive elements.
At each location, scan the corresponding QR code from the PDF to launch the AR viewer. The AR experiences are geo-targeted, meaning you must be at the specified location for it to work.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Get the PDF: Download and print the PDF that includes all the QR codes and URLs.
- Go to the Locations: Use URLs at norwich.best/xxx for exact coordinates. For example, Norwich Cathedral is at norwich.best/44.
- Scan the QR Code: At each location, scan the corresponding QR code from the PDF with your phone.
- Experience AR: Enjoy the augmented reality experience at each location.
